About:

My lifelong dream has been to work with students of all ages and positively impact their lives. It was this attitude that led me to pursue a career in education. I obtained my BA from Chapman University, my Masters in Education from UC Irvine, and additionally I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from UCLA. I have had the privilege of teaching in California and New York City in grades ranging from 1st to 6th. I have also been an elementary Teacher on Special Assignment(TOSA) and a middle school Assistant Principal. I am extremely excited about being a part of Cabrillo which is a place where we truly "grow and learn together!"

"Where we grow and learn together"

November 2017

October was a productive month at Cabrillo.  We had many events such as Movie, Literary and Technology night.  In addition, we also kicked off our Watchdog program.  I want to thank our staff, PTA and parents for their on-going support of all our school activities!

Our students also continue to participate in art, PE, Library and technology classes.  In November we will be hosting an Art gallery night for first and second graders.  This night will showcase the students art pieces.  We hope to see you all there!

Cabrillo's academic continue to flourish.  Teachers are attending various training and lab days to support them in their implementation of Cognitively Guided Instruction in math.  In addition, they are working hard to alter/create assessments for our new English Language Arts curriculum "Wonders".  I am so proud of our staff's commitment to ensuring all students receive a rigorous standard based curriculum.
